GTO AND THE D-STREET BRASS
MARC BROUSSARD
With roots deeply immersed in Cajun Country, MARC BROUSSARD definitely has one of the most powerful soul voices to ever come out of South Louisiana. From his early years, singing Johnny B. Good with his father’s band to his soulful covers of Otis Redding, and his timeless original tunes; the true spirit of Marc Broussard shines through revealing the essence of a passionate performer.
Enjoying the release of his début album with Atlantic Records, “Keep Coming Back”, Marc has behind him a string of credits that most musicians would envy. He’s toured with giants; Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Willie Nelson, and Bonnie Raitt, among others. Marc has also worked with contemporary stars Leanne Rimes and Sara Bareilles. The intensity of Marc’s live performance lights up the stage as he continues to perform for large crowds across the United States and Europe.
Mark’s depth in American musical tradition confirms that now, as a member of the Atlantic roster, with his new album, he has come home to a place that can nurture his continued growth for years to come.

MURRAY CONQUE
MURRAY CONQUE hails from Carencro, Louisiana which is located deep in the heart of Cajun Country. For over thirty years he has entertained audiences at banquets and conventions all across the country from Las Vegas, Nevada to Quebec, Canada. You may have seen him on national television, having made appearances on the “Regis and Kathie Lee Show” and on the “Chef John Folse Show”.
Besides wearing many hats, Murray also wears a crown. He was named “King of the Cajun Joke-Tellers” at the International Cajun Joke-Telling contest. Murray has been chosen as the opening act for such names as Trace Adkins, Aaron Neville, The Temptations, Mel McDaniel, Mickey Gilley, and Ray Price. In February, 2006, he was invited to perform at the prestigious Hub Cap Comedy Festival in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
Murray’s full of fun and tells so many Cajun stories, it’s hard to pick a favorite. But, there’s one thing that you can be sure of, he will only use warm, clean Cajun humor that is suitable for all audiences. www.murrayconque.com
GTO is an exciting eleven piece variety dance band based out of Lafayette, LA. Most of the members played “old school” music with bands like The Soul Crowd, We the People, and Billy John and the Continentals. They are dedicated to preserving the classic sounds of rhythm & blues and soul music from the sixties, seventies and eighties.
GTO’s main attraction is their five piece horn section, which moves and grooves to every beat of the music. Their seasoned and talented rhythm section harbors three vocalists Kenny Courville, Ricky Courville and Bobby Babineaux. GTO’s live CD was recorded at Roxy’s, a club previously located in the Coushatta Casino, Kinder, LA. This CD features Connie Garrett, one of South Louisiana’s most dynamic female vocalists. www.gtopartyband.com
